The Sampling Tavern @ Le Marchand De Vin

As your wine merchant, the best way we can advise you about the nuances of the many different wines available in our store is to understand your palate. Our Sampling Tavern provides the perfect way to try a variety of wine every week, without spending hundreds of dollars on wine, only to find you don't like half of what you purchased! Join us regularly to sample up to 16 wines every week and you'll quickly find the taste and style preferences that appeal...as well as those that don't! A new rack of 16 wines are available every Wednesday through the weekend. The Sampling Tavern is open from Noon every day until 6.30pm, or 4.45pm on Sundays.

We look forward to discussing your likes and dislikes so we can begin an understanding of YOUR preferences allowing us to curate a personal selection of wines you would enjoy. Whether it's to increase your own knowledge, taste before you buy or learn what you and your friends prefer in wine, the mix of wines on tasting duty will show you a broad spectrum of styles for you to experience. What does sampling wine involve?

When you arrive at the store, just let us know you want to sample wine and would like a Sampling Card. You use the sampling card to interact with our pouring machines to select the wines you want to explore. We will ask for you name and phone number to set you up in our system, authorize your Sampling Card and show you to use the pourers. You can then curate your tasting from the 16 wines we offer. There are 16 new wines every week.

How much does it cost?

Each wine on offer has the option to taste (1oz), sample (3oz) or enjoy by the glass (5oz). Each pour volume is priced separately depending on the cost of the wine, so the amount you spend depends on how you choose to enjoy your experience with us. Prices are clearly marked above each pour selection.

How much can I drink?

Le Marchand De Vin is a Wine Merchant and Sampling Tavern. The experience we offer provides exposure to over 60 different wines every month, so that you can sample a wide type of wine styles to find wines that resonate and allow you to can make confident purchasing decisions. We ask you to enjoy the experience responsibly.

Do you only serve wine?

Our Sampling Tavern offers a variety of beverages including Mimosas, the Merchant's Mary, sweet wine flights and bubbles by the glass. We also have 4 different beers on tap available to enjoy during wine sampling hours.

When are you open to sample wines?

The Sampling Tavern is open from noon-6.30pm, Tuesday - Saturday and from Noon - 5pm on Sunday. We are closed on Monday.
