The Sampling Tavern @ Le Marchand De Vin
As your wine merchant, the best way we can advise you about the nuances of the many different wines available in our store is to understand your palate. Our Sampling Tavern provides the perfect way to try a variety of wine every week, without spending hundreds of dollars on wine, only to find you don't like half of what you purchased! Join us regularly to sample up to 16 wines every week and you'll quickly find the taste and style preferences that appeal...as well as those that don't! A new rack of 16 wines are available every Wednesday through the weekend. The Sampling Tavern is open from Noon every day until 6.30pm, or 4.45pm on Sundays.
We look forward to discussing your likes and dislikes so we can begin an understanding of YOUR preferences allowing us to curate a personal selection of wines you would enjoy. Whether it's to increase your own knowledge, taste before you buy or learn what you and your friends prefer in wine, the mix of wines on tasting duty will show you a broad spectrum of styles for you to experience. From Noon - 6pm, we offer a variety of American and classic European cheeses including 12 Month Aged Manchego, Stilton, Comte, Farmhouse Cheddar and others. Charcuterie choices include salamis from Iberico, Spain, Triple Pig, Ohio, Tamija Wagyu Beef, Indiana, or Prosciutto from the original place of Parma in Italy's North.

Our dogs are made using hearth baked rolls from Tomarosa Bakery in Philadelphia, and using a 100% Sustainably Raised Australian Wagyu Beef dog for sheer enjoyment! Dress up your dog to your personal preference with a selection of condiments for some classic tavern food! Eurodogs are availeble from Noon to 6pm.

Try a delicious, lightly spiced cup of Northwoods Beef and Bean Chili in the cooler months, or choose from a vegetarian option such as Broccoli Cheddar or a non-Veg option such as classic chicken noodle. Chilli and Soup are available Noon-3pm, Wed-Saturday.

We'll be offering several classic Panini's like Mozzarella, Tomato and Basil or Prosciutto, Mozzarella with a fig jam spread starting in March 2026. Panini's will be available along with soup and chili service for a delicious soup and sandwich combo. Also available Sundays Noon - 4pm.
